Originally, Dana and co-publisher Christina Elliott founded and Elliott-Lopez Publications, Inc. and TeachCE.com (a.k.a. Occupational Injury and Illness Perspectives). This publication began in 1997 as an informational newsletter to employers, insurers and physicians. Over the years, it has become a medical legal teaching tool for the same members of the California Workers’ Compensation industry. The publication became certified as a home study, distance learning program for QME continuing education in 1998 with material focused toward physicians who treat and evaluate injured workers in the State of California.
In late 2021, Christina decided it was time to retire. Her dedication and hard work in starting, growing and keeping the business flourishing is greatly appreciated! We wish her the best!
Now, beginning January 2022, Sherry German has come on board and partnered with Dana. Together they have plans to take the company to the next level with enhancements like online course-taking and added services like video courses and live, in-person seminar courses.
